Such a great opportunity to see and interact with beautiful animals. All the animals seem to have lots of space and care to live happily in great natural environments. Having an Elk poke it's head in your car looking for carrots is also a very interesting experience.

This is a fantastic place to bring young kids. There are animals everywhere so almost guaranteed that you will enjoy the visit. There are many trails to walk along and places to set-up a picnic, etc. There is a deer feeding are that allows you pet and feed the deer up close. The gift shop/restaurant is reasonably priced and the food is good. The only issue is the initial cost to enter the park. for our car of 5, it was $125.00. But, the cost to maintain the park and animals probably justifies the price. All in all, a great place for a family outing. We will definitely be back.

Caveat: If you go on a holiday weekend, expect frustration, with extremely long car lines all along the car route within the park. For those who have easily frayed nerves, these days are not for you. Trust me on that. Instead, try a regular weekend, or get there as early as you possibly can. Check the hours of operation. Please note that the place is not that hard to find.

A must visite in Ottawa's area. The animals are amazing. My kid was so excited to see them. The nature is beautiful as well. Our family tradition, is to go there once a year. So far, we were never disappointed.

Omega Park is a fantastic place to go on the weekend. With the kids it's a lot of fun. Bring bags of carrots. Perhaps 3. Follow the instructions as these are wild animals and even though they may look nice, if a moose tries to stick his head inside your window nothing much is going to stop it. Including your half open window. Absolutely do not try to feed the Bison. They can easily dent your car if they decide that they want more and you don't have any. Just be careful and you can have a lot of fun. There are a few snack places at the end of the run. And you can also rent a golf cart which you can take through the forest to a small tourist Farm at the end of that run. That's a lot of fun. The food in all of these places is just okay. At this Farm you can see chickens and goats and rabbits. You can even take a short hayride at the farm.

We loved the afternoon we spent here. It's a great place to take the kids to see animals that are native to this area up close. Nice to see the animals roaming free and coming up to snack on a carrot or two. Just make sure to pick up a bag of carrots for each child. There are many areas to get out of the vehicle and have fun while interacting with some of the animals. Well worth the time and admission.
